You won’t want to miss the 2011 ASF Biennial Conference – At the Crossroads.
On Thursday, July 28, 2011, you will learn from ASF President, Tim McCarty and ASF Scientific Advisory Committee Chair, Dr. Charlie Williams, where we have been, where we are currently and where we are going. Many exciting things are happening in the Angelman world right now-where progress is being made. ASF is at the forefront of these exciting advances.
During these presentations, you will meet the 2011 recipients of the Harry and Audrey Angelman Award for Meritorious Service and the Claudia Benton Award for Research. These prestigious awards honor those individuals and/or groups that have made significant advances and contributions to the awareness and advancement of Angelman Syndrome, as well as long-term advances and commitment to research.
You will also have the opportunity to hear the Dr. Joseph E. Wagstaff Postdoctoral Fellow, Dr. Ian King, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, address conference attendees and provide an overview of the research he will be conducting during the next two years as the Wagstaff Fellow.
Plan now to attend the 2011 ASF Biennial Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah! Registration is now open, and remember, all individuals with Angelman Syndrome will receive a complimentary registration for this year’s conference! (Lagoon Park not included).
