The Canadian Angelman Syndrome Society is pleased to invite all CASS family members, their supporters and the members of the professional community, as well as our American and international friends to our 9th International Conference, Making Connections. Over the next several months the CASS Conference Committee will be working towards creating a 2008 Conference that will equal, if not surpass, earlier conferences.
The reasons for this are simple, really. A site has been chosen for the 2008 CASS 9th International Conference. And what a site it is. Between July 23rd and July 26th, 2008 plan on joining with us as we gather at the superb resort facility of the Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa in beautiful Whistler, British Columbia to share and learn. Sessions will include topics of technical interest, social and family information, and current and topical support. Professionals will be on hand to present the newest information and and answer questions from either the first-timer or the long time parent.
Known throughout the world as one of the truly great tourist destinations, Whistler will also be almost fully prepared to host the world in 2010 at the Winter Olympic Games. Just a 1 1/2 hour drive from Vancouver International airport, and 2 ½ hours from the Washington State border, even the experience of that drive along the Sea-to-Sky highway makes this a destination worth getting to. Throw in our family oriented Conferences, and the Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa facilities and start planning now to make a July 2008 trip that you will remember for a long time.
